Students of the Department of Economics are required to complete two internships. Students may complete their internships either during summer breaks or semester intervals. Academic advisors assist students in selecting institutions and making the necessary arrangements. Students may apply for internships at public institutions such as the Ministry of Economy, the Ministry of Development, and the Central Bank of the Republic of Türkiye; international organizations; think tanks; research centers; consulting firms; finance, accounting, financial affairs, budgeting, planning, and analysis departments of private companies; accounting and financial advisory offices; and political parties.
